ANIL LAMBERT (CBR)

Anil is a communication expert, specialising in writing, messaging, and storytelling. He has worked as an advisor and communications consultant to peak bodies, corporates, member-based organisations, policy think tanks, super funds, politicians, and health advocacy organisations.

Anil has written and placed hundreds of op-eds, papers, and speeches for his clients, many of which have had a serious impact on the national debate. He has directed numerous campaigns that have resulted in significant political change. He has worked as a journalist and producer, occupying a variety of senior roles across television, online news, and radio.

NICK LUCCHINELLI (SYD)

Nick is a communication expert who specialises in media relations, crisis communication, narrative framing, and message development. Nick has consulted to dozens of Australian and international organisations. He has launched successful campaigns into the public domain, and also managed communication through crises and conflicts such as judicial inquiries, intense industrial disputes, and leadership change.

Nick began his career working with the ABC and AAP, reporting on politics and business and also serving as a newsreader, and executive producer. He has recently worked at the Geneva-based Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, coordinating global communication efforts.

MATT COUGHLAN (MEL)

Matt is a seasoned editorial leader and communication expert who has run national news bureaus. Matt trained with the Australian Associated Press. He spent seven years with the national newswire, primarily in the Canberra press gallery, where he developed an extensive contact network and honed his political and policy intelligence. Most recently Matt was deputy national chief-of-staff for the News Corp Australia newswire where he oversaw several dozen journalists, guiding editorial decision making and setting priorities on a daily basis.

CHARLIE MOORE (SYD)

Charlie is a communications and media expert who has consulted a diverse range of clients including corporates, peak bodies and unions. He was previously a journalist at the Daily Mail in the UK and in Australia, where he set up the publication’s federal press gallery bureau and covered three budgets, the 2022 federal election campaign, and interviewed two prime ministers.

TIM BRUNERO (SYD)

Tim is a communication expert specialising in media liaison, specialist writing, and media training. He has presented ABC radio programs in nearly every state and territory across Australia, including ABC Sydney, hosting Nightlife & Summer Drive. Tim uses his decades of experience in broadcast and print journalism to turn complex policy positions into compelling, human stories. He began his career in print, as a reporter with The Australian and The Daily Telegraph.

MATTHEW BUTT (LON)

Matthew is an experienced writer with deep experience in politics and newsrooms. Matthew Butt was a senior sub-editor for Fairfax Media, overseeing and correcting copy in publications such as The Australian Financial Review, The Age and The Sydney Morning Herald. From 2014 to 2022 he worked in senior communications roles with Auckland City Council, rising to become Senior Communications Advisor to Auckland’s then-mayor, Phil Goff, responsible for speeches. Matthew has also taught English Literature at Auckland University.

RÉMI BIANCHI (SYD)

Rémi is an award-winning graphic designer and illustrator who has worked in the Australian news media for nearly three decades. A former graphics editor for The Sydney Morning Herald, he specialises in information design and visual journalism. Rémi co-founded and designed Australia’s national newspaper for kids, Crinkling News.
