He has worked as an advisor and communications consultant to peak bodies, corporates, member-based organisations, policy think tanks, super funds, politicians, and health advocacy organisations.
Anil has written and placed hundreds of op-eds, papers, and speeches for his clients, many of which have had a serious impact on the national debate. He has directed numerous multi-channel campaigns, and assisted in framing, preparing, and landing news stories and media appearances on behalf of his clients.
Nick is a communication expert who specialises in media relations, crisis communication, narrative framing, and message development. Nick has consulted to dozens of Australian and international organisations. He has launched successful campaigns into the public domain, and also managed communication through crises and conflicts such as judicial inquiries, intense industrial disputes, and leadership change.
Nick began his career working with the ABC and AAP, reporting on politics and business and also serving as a newsreader, and executive producer. He has recently worked at the Geneva-based Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, coordinating global communication efforts.
Suze provides insights into the modern news media landscape, having worked as a television, wire and print journalist in London, Australia, and New Zealand. At Horton Advisory she has handled high-profile industrial disputes, launched national campaigns, navigated reputational issues, managed clients’ media needs on a daily basis, and written specialist reports across a range of sectors.
Julia is a PR specialist and former broadcast journalist, including eight years at 60 Minutes and two years running the national health desk at Seven News. She prides herself on delivering memorable, relatable and relevant stories that audiences will connect to. A strong and fast writer with skills learnt on Fleet Street, and honed over the years. A strategic thinker with a strong track record of working with high profile stakeholders and handling multiple projects at any one time.
Tim is a communication expert specialising in media liaison, specialist writing, and media training. He has presented ABC radio programs in nearly every state and territory across Australia, including ABC Sydney, hosting Nightlife & Summer Drive. Tim uses his decades of experience in broadcast and print journalism to turn complex policy positions into compelling, human stories. He began his career in print, as a reporter with The Australian and The Daily Telegraph.
Levi is a communications and policy specialist who has worked across a number of Trans Tasman newsrooms and was the former editor of New Zealand’s only LGBTIQ publication. He has a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in political studies from the University of Auckland. Levi has strong digital and social media skills and understands what is needed to perfectly tailor a message for an online audience, in order to deliver high levels of engagement. He has a strong knowledge of domestic and international policy and an extensive history working in politics across New Zealand and Australia, including as a media advisor in the Australian Federal Parliament.
